Dear ARML Team,
Happy Sunday! A quick update with a few time-sensitive reminders.
First Online Tryout – Today at 4pm
Our first online tryout is today (Sunday, April 26), from 4pm to 5pm. The tryout will be posted on registered students’ ContestDojo accounts at 4pm. Please start no later than 4:10pm to ensure you have the full allotted time. The format of the tryout will be similar to an ARML individual round (5 pairs of problems, 10 minutes per pair).
Please treat the tryout as you would any contest – it should represent your own work, and you should not use outside resources or calculators.
Guest Access and Issues
If you are not yet registered but would like to participate in today’s tryout, please email [email protected] as soon as possible with the email address associated with your ContestDojo student account, and we can set up guest access. If you run into any issues accessing the tryout, reach out to us right away so we can help before the window closes.
We are aware that some emails to this address are bouncing – if you cannot reach us, contact me directly at [email protected].
Registration and Payment Deadline – Tomorrow
The deadline to register and pay for ARML is tomorrow, Monday, April 27. To reserve your spot on the team, you must complete the Information Sheet and pay the contest fee ($410) on ContestDojo by end of day tomorrow. See our website for details.
If you’ve already filled out the Information Sheet but haven’t yet paid, please take care of that before the deadline.
More Tryouts This Week
If you can’t make today’s tryout, or want additional opportunities, we have three more coming up:
- Tryout 2: Tuesday, April 28, 6pm-7pm
- Tryout 3: Thursday, April 30, 7pm-8pm
- Tryout 4: Saturday, May 2, 11am-noon
All tryouts are online via ContestDojo. We encourage anyone interested in elite team selection to complete at least two tryouts (including ARML Local). See our Practices and Tryouts page for full details.
T-Shirt Design Deadline – April 30
T-shirt designs are due by this Thursday, April 30. Designs must be in a vector-graphics format (.svg or .ai) with a four-color ink limit between the front and back. See this post for the full rules, and send your submissions to [email protected].
Good luck on the tryout today!
