SFBA / NorCal ARML is operated by Lemniscate Education, a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or participate in our programs.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you fill out our registration forms (e.g. the Information Sheet on Google Forms or payment through ContestDojo), we may collect:
- Name, email address, age, gender, and grade level
- City of residence and ZIP code
- School name
- T-shirt size
- Parent/guardian name and email address
- Discord username
- Math competition scores (e.g. AMC, AIME, USAMO/USAJMO, BMT, and others)
- Past ARML participation history
- Allergies and dietary restrictions
- Whether you are willing to drive to the competition
- Any additional information you choose to provide in optional fields
- Payment information (processed by ContestDojo; we do not store payment card details)
- Permission slip information
Information collected automatically. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data about visits to our site. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. Our site also uses your browser’s local storage to save your theme preference (light/dark mode).
Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect technical information such as IP addresses in server logs as part of operating the hosting service. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement for more details.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Organize and manage SFBA / NorCal ARML teams and events
- Communicate with students and parents about practices, tryouts, logistics, and team updates
- Process registration fees and manage team rosters
- Select teams for competition
- Send updates via our mailing list
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- ContestDojo, our registration and payment platform, to process fees and manage tryout scores
- ARML, the national competition organizer, as required for team registration
- Google (Google Forms), to collect registration information
- Service providers who assist us in operating our programs, only as necessary
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to operate our programs and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights

Children’s Privacy
Our programs are designed for high school students. We collect student information with the understanding that parents or guardians are involved in the registration process and have consented to their student’s participation. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately.
