Season Summary

Tuesday, June 16, 2026

Dear ARML Team,

Thank you to everyone who participated in our ARML team this year!

The Contest Problems and Final Results have been posted on ARML’s website. Our A1 team finished 7th nationally this year.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone at practices, at ARML Local, and in Reno. I’m proud of the community that we’ve been able to build year after year. ARML is the one opportunity of the year where our entire region gets to come together and represent one team rather than competing against each other, and it’s inspiring to see our team demonstrate the spirit of our region’s math community.

Special shout-outs to:

  • Neal for once again taking the lead with our UC Davis practices and making it possible for our Sac/Davis students to participate in ARML.
  • All of our coaches who came to practices and worked with our students throughout the season.
  • Our parent chaperones who took time off work and volunteered their weekend to come to ARML and make everything run so smoothly.
  • AlphaStar for being a great partner and hosting one of our Bay Area practices.
  • Jane Street for generously sponsoring our team this season.
  • Everyone on our teams for being integral parts of our community.

Nathan took many photos at ARML, and they can be found at the following link: [redacted for the website – email [email protected] for the link].

Our ARML team is an all-volunteer effort. Your registration fees go directly toward the contest fee, transportation, dorm rooms, practices, and the team t-shirt, and are just enough to cover costs. We’d love to be able to do even more next year, and if you’d like to give to our team, you may do so at our donations page. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization and contributions are tax-deductible.

Please stay in touch! Students are encouraged to join the team Discord server – click on the Discord icon on our website to join. I hope that we’ll see many of you at events throughout the coming year, and as a part of next year’s team.

–Moor and the rest of the SFBA/NorCal coaching staff
