The 2025 ARML Competition will be held on May 30 – May 31, 2025 at the University of Nevada Reno. Registration opened in early April, with a registration deadline of end of day on April 28th. Dear ARML Team, Registration and Payment Deadline Registration for our team closes today: Monday, April 28. This is a firm deadline to comply with ARML’s registration requirements. If you are planning to come with the team to Reno this year, we need you to register by the end of day today. Registration consists of two steps: Complete the Information Sheet. Schedule We have two online tryouts this year, both held on ContestDojo. April 26 (Saturday), 4pm-5pm May 3 (Saturday), 11am-noon For a full tryout and practice schedule, see http://sfbanorcalarml.org/practices/. What are tryouts for the ARML team? While everyone who’s interested in ARML is able to participate, we will select multiple elite teams of top students who will be ranked against the top teams from other regions. To select these teams, we will hold two online evening tryout opportunities. We will additionally consider ARML Local on April 27 to be a tryout as well. While attending a tryout is not required to be selected onto an elite team, it is highly encouraged. Even if you aren’t interested in elite team selection, we still recommend attending tryouts for extra practice! ...
What is ARML Local? ARML Local is a “mini-ARML”, written by ARML’s problem writers. Teams will be ranked nationally and winners will be recognized at the awards ceremony in Reno on May 31. We are hosting ARML Local in two times and places: Bay Area: Sunday, 4/27 @ 9am, Bliss and Wisdom Foundation, San Jose Sacramento Area: Sunday, 4/27 @ 12pm, UC Davis Shields Library Room 162 There is no need to register in advance, though we do ask that you come on-time.
