While everyone who’s interested in ARML is able to participate, we will select multiple elite teams of top students who will be ranked against the top teams from other regions. While attending a tryout is not required to be selected onto an elite team, it is highly encouraged. What is ARML Local? ARML Local is a “mini-ARML”, written by ARML’s problem writers. Teams will be ranked nationally and winners will be recognized at the awards ceremony in Reno on May 31. In a venerable ARML tradition, we’ll be designing a distinctive team t-shirt. You are invited to submit design ideas, and we will put them to a vote in early May. We had another great season, and after catching up on some sleep, I’m already looking forward to next year’s ARML season. The Contest Problems and Final Results have been posted on ARML’s website. Our A1 team finished 2nd nationally this year, and our A2 team finished in 14th place in Division A, as the second best A2 team in the country.
